Arriving By Air: Ottawa International Airport (YOW)

The journey time between Ottawa Airport (YOW) and The Westin Ottawa is around 29 min and covers a distance of around 22 km.

Train Service from YOW to Downtown Ottawa/Westin:

Ottawa hopes to have its O-Train’s Airport Link completed and fully operational by the end of 2023. Check back here at the beginning of 2024 for more details. The expectation is that there will be a stop at the Rideau Centre which is connected to the Westin Ottawa.

Bus Service from YOW to Downtown Ottawa/Westin:

There is a direct bus departing from YOW and arriving at the Westin Ottawa/Rideau A. The journey takes approximately 25 min. Operated by OC Transpo. https://www.octranspo.com/en/

This service works best for attendees that don’t have a lot of luggage because there is a short walk from Rideau A to the Westin (map below). Airport Location - OC Transpo / Pillars 13-16 (outer curb)

OC Transpo is the public transit provider in Ottawa. Bus Route 97 serves the airport using low-floor, fully accessible buses that can accommodate mobility devices. Transit fares can be purchased from the ticket machine located on Level 1, or paid in cash or Presto card onboard the bus. OC Transpo also operates Para Transpo, a door-to-door transportation service for people with disabilities. Advanced registration is required for Para Transpo. www.octranspo.com

RIDESHARING SERVICES
